Welcome to the Youth Athletics page for the City of Sumner. Here you'll find information for local sports for the youth in the community of Sumner, registration forms for each sport (when available) and schedules/fees for each offered.

BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, T-BALL		Baseball/Softball Season is here and sign up forms are out! Kindergarten through 7th Graders looking to sign up for Sumner 2020 Baseball and Softball can pick up a Registration and Consent form at your elementary/middle school front office, Sumner City Hall, or by emailing the Director at sumnerparkandrec@gmail.com. Registrations, consent form and payment are due March 13th, 2020. COACHES and UMPIRES WANTED: Anyone interested in coaching or being an umpire for any age group this season, can add their name to their players registration form, or contact the Director at sumnerparkandrec@gmail.com. BASKETBALL		Sumner/Fredericksburg Rec Basketball is open to all current 3rd-4th graders. Complete registration forms (2 pages) and payment can be submitted to City Hall by November 15th. Practices anticipated to start the first week of December and games in January and February. COACHES WANTED: Interested in helping teach our basketball players the fundamentals of the sport? Contact the Parks and Rec Director at sumnerparkandrec@gmail.com to sign up to help out this season.

SOCCER		Spring 2020 Tripoli-Sumner-Fredericksburg Spring Soccer Sign Up: Fall 2019 participants do NOT need to re-register for spring. Click Register Now on our home page at http://tsfsocceria.iowasoccerlive.org Available for birth years 2005 – 2013. Sign up by 2/29/2020 to avoid a late fee. Registration closes at midnight on 3/7. First games are on April 18th. Payment Plans Available Base Fee = $45 (plus uniform) Late Fee Begins 03/01/2019 = (+$14) Sibling Discounts = -$5 per additional child Full Uniform (Will be reused next year) = +$47 Share the news!
